Prevents debris from being ingested into the fan. A must for all offroad applications or when engine compartment is subject to external debris. Does not affect intake air volume. The screen is made of heavy duty metal and chrome plated. Fits all up right fan shrouds with rear fan lip included our # 8857 Ram shroud.
