New premium extractors are made from 1 3/8" 16 gauge steel with extra thick flanges. Tubes are mandrel bent to insure smooth exhaust gas flow. All flanges are surface ground to ensure a flat sealing surface and finish ground on I.D.'s. EMPI's premium extractors are available with flared lower tubes for use with heater boxes or J-Tubes. The flanged version comes with welded flanges on the lower tubes and 2 extra 2-bolt flanges, for welding onto J-Tubes or heater boxes. The 3-bolt muffler flange is at the 1:00 position and will accept 3200, 3201, 3202 mufflers and 3696, 3697 stingers. Comes with high quality gaskets, stainless steel bolts and copper nuts to resist corrosion. Available with black painted finish or super durable silver ceramic coat. Fits 1300-1600cc Type 1 based engines.
